Martin Ainscough

Chairman

Martin grew Ainscough Crane Hire into the largest and most successful crane business in the UK, prior to its £255 million sale in 2007. Following the sale, Martin started a number of other ventures, including a private equity business, which made a multi-million pound investment in Carlick Contract Furniture. Martin is also Chairman of the Ainscough Group of Companies and sits on the Prince's Trust Fundraising Committee.

Damian O'Donnell

Managing Director

Damian started his career with another Manchester based contract furniture supplier in the 1980's. He soon became promoted to managing director where he was instrumental in driving that business over a 10 year period to become one of the largest operators in the sector. In 2007, Damian left his role to lead a buy-out of Carlick Contract Furniture backed by private equity funding from Martin Ainscough. Damian has over 25 years experience in the contract furniture sector with a particular focus on manufacturing and production.

Sabin Islam

Finance Director

Sabin joined the company as finance director in 2008 shortly after the buy-out. Prior to joining the team, Sabin spent five years with Manchester firm, Hurst Corporate Finance, advising clients on multi-million pound corporate acquisitions, disposals, management buy-outs and re-financing transactions. Sabin now heads up the finance team and is also involved in all commercial and strategic aspects of the business.

Sherrie Lubeck

Sales Director

Sherrie joined the business in 2011 as sales director and brings a wealth of experience to the business having spent 15 years in the sector. Sherrie is responsible for running the sales force whilst maintaining the company's major PLC client accounts. Prior to joining Carlick, Sherrie has held senior sales positions with other leading Contract furniture suppliers in the UK.

Steve Connelly

Non-Executive Director

Steve is an experienced corporate financier. Having previously worked at Arthur Andersen, Steve went on to become a partner of Hurst and Co. Steve sits on the board as non-executive director and he is also a director of a number of property investment, strategic land and private equity companies within the Ainscough Group.
