50 years of Carlick Contract Furniture

The Carlick Contract Furniture you see today looked a lot different way back when the business first started.

In 1973, the company was founded by Sam Carlick under the name S. Carlick & Sons. The family business focused on the manufacturing and supply of table tops and joinery items for both dining environments and boardrooms.

As the years progressed, the business evolved to produce more than just these items and eventually turned into the version you see today. A business that is one of the country’s largest manufacturers and suppliers of contract furniture and bespoke joinery products and is trusted by the leading pub, bar and restaurant groups operating in the UK.

Originally, Carlick was based down the road from our current site. From this location in Heywood, Manchester the business operated until 2011, when the company moved to a larger manufacturing and warehouse facility in Swinton, Manchester which has now grown to a staggering 100,000sq ft.

As we celebrate our 50^th anniversary, we want to say a massive thank you to everyone we have worked with over the years. We are so grateful to you for giving us the opportunities and trust to work on so many fantastic projects. The work that we do and our achievements fill us with immense pride.
